Speaking of sharing hope…

Just as Mercy Ships shares hope in a meaningful way, I often consider how I can do that from here.  These thoughts were interesting (Thanks, Chris, for the great link).  They align with the conclusion I’ve come to, which is that being real with people is the best way to share something, whether it’s the Gospel, a great doctor, or a great shoe store.  Being genuine and relaxed goes a long way.  And when it comes down to it, if I want to share something, I’ve got to know and be convinced of what I’m talking about, which relates back to the previous post on Time.   Not that I’m equating the Gospel to a good shoe store.  It’s just the concept of giving people information they find useful and helpful v. trying to make certain information fit into a conversation that it doesn’t feel natural in.
